What King of Collaboration among the employees and management affect the success of the operational change?
Like most companies today, Desert Communication is faced with changes in the economy that is affecting their business and their bottom lines. Coping with operational changes is not easy situation but can be managed through successful collaboration among employees and management. In order to facilitate the changes at Desert Communication, Inc., employees and management need to communicate on all levels. Well established collaboration will help management make better decisions regarding the changes faced at this time. One of the most effective ways endure changes is to align employees to the new strategic movement to ensure their team can reallocate their resources to capitalize on added services of the communication industry, but everyone must be on board, seeing the same vision, and work toward achievement and implementation of these goals. Employees need to have the right information, at the right time. Management and employees can collaborate on new ideas to promote added benefits for their customer base, and through redevelopment of work teams to improve information flow and redesigning job duties to make better use of the new information (Krigsman, 2011). Managers should not only want to give employees just information alone, but it is important to collaborate through training, support, mentorship, promotions, dedication and motivation. Good leaders engage their teams by offering challenges, seeking their ideas and suggestions.
