Philosophy Paper
I will begin with this question, “what is the meaning of philosophy?” the attempt to answer this, physical objects, the terms we use and know, such as existence of God, right and wrong, beauty and ugliness, and justice etc. these are the problems of life that are questions to all human beings. Moreover, they are hard to answer because of being ambiguous their self. For example, in our earlier history, we humans are facing with the natural disaster such as a flood, storm and earthquake, which cause great suffering to them. So, they start thinking that these disasters are unpredictable and finding the causes of these sudden events. Gradually, the concept of thinking develops from ancient human kind to modern generation. I agree with thinking things over is the beginning of philosophy. Asking questions to some problem that deal with in daily life achieve the closest results, which might be a point of view from a conventional or emotional matter. One human kind after another gain these results from various individuals and groups, those who are thinkers (philosophers). Although thinker’s point of view became more specific, most people’s point of view in general is vague, confused, and superficial. Among the many meaning of philosophy, however, that I bear in mind for a clear understanding, is love of wisdom: the systematic, critical examination of the way in which we judge, evaluate, and act, with the aim of making ourselves wiser, more self-reflective, and therefore, better men and women. The word philosophy is derived from Greek words Philla (love) and Sophia (wisdom) and means “the love of wisdom” Many people attempts to define philosophy throughout history.
