Hard determinism says that all actions have prior cause we are free one very famous example of hard determinism was the case of Loeb and Leopold. Some people say that they were not responsible for what they did but it was actually the factors around them and their upbringing.
Libertarianism says that we are completely free and can be held responsible for all our actions. We can only mean a power of acting or not acting according to determination of free will.
Soft determinism basically argues that our actions are determined but we are still morally responsible for our actions. Doesn’t rule out free will. It also says that some of our actions are conditional whilst others are caused by external influences.
A very famous philosopher David Hume describes liberty as only mean a power of acting or not acting according to the determination of will that is we chose to remain at rest, we may; but if we chose to move we also may.
