Health like love or happiness, is a quality of life that is difficult to define and virtually impossible to measure. Our bodies drive fuel (energy) from the food we eat. There are six major nutrients come to use in food: Proteins, Carbohydrates, fats, Vitamins, minerals, and water. Each nutrient is essential for a major roll in a healthy life style that would keep us stress free, and in good physical condition. Nutritional guides and education about food labeling are excellent tools in maintaining a healthy life style. Due to fluctuating schedules, fast food and snacks are a convenient way for a student to fuel up.

Insights, Analysis, & Relation to Weight Loss Program

After analyzing my personal diet, I have come to realize how unhealthy I have been eating for my height and weight. I noticed that I eat a lot of fatty and greasy foods, which should not be in my daily diet. I will try to change my eating habits as well as for children’s eating habits. I have a seven-year daughter that I believe is on the verge of being diagnosed as obsessed for her age group. I not only will change our eating habits but I will change my other family members’ eating habits as well. I have come to realize that if I continue to eat this way I will not be here on earth much longer. I also researched some weight loss programs and come to find one in particular that I really believe if I follow their guidelines I can loose the weight I have always dreamed of doing.
The Jenny Craig diet can be a benefit in my case because; part of their guidelines will have a one-on-one with one of their counselors; who will assist you and see you through the whole program until you reach the weight goal you want to be at. I have tried so many diets on my own and realized why do I need to loose this weight; when I know my husband loves me for who I am and not what I look like.
