The shifting economy and ever-evolving industry of technology has expanded most job roles, making it vital for the healthcare professionals and technological workers to wear many different hats. Aside from merely providing assistance, a member of the healthcare or technological team may find themselves taking on the role of salesperson, manager, and/or a trainer. To build an effective technology support team, requires a significant investment in training. This includes tram building training, a team launch workshop, cross-functional training, and training in various integrated product development technique. Technical training is mandatory to allow the non-technical members to participate in the team effectively. A positive culture towards constant improvement and team based approaches must be created. One’s complete training may have been spent on customer service, and other elements of professional development may have been abandoned. For example, there may be situations in which one individual is the person in the entire company with whom the customers make contact, and is vital to the business that this communication be a positive experience. Further, one may be mandated to provide support to technical coworkers. Clear communication with technical people can help facilitate good working relationships and close the gap between dissimilar departments like human resources and customer service within the organization. The key benefit of working in a diverse team is that the intensity of discernment and possibility of contribution is considerably increased as opposed to working in a homogenous team. By pursuing diversity in forming a work team, one must increase the rate of creating quality, multileveled ideas that are ingenious in nature.
