It is Monday morning and I am musing in AP English class. As I sit, I tend to ponder about my weekend while Ms. Farrara is introducing an important lesson of the day. Instead of myself contributing to class I became unfeasible. As Huxley said in Brave New World, “people are controlled by inflicting pleasure.” people in America today are diverted from the major issues of the world, like economic financial, debates and violence. This is because, as Huxley apprehended, Americans are focused on their mania rather than imperative issues. Specifically, most people in the present day are splurging more time using computers and watching TV. Moreover, although there are different matters going on in our country, like the evolution in the gaming industry, in reality, people would just maintain to persevere with themselves for their longing of games.

Primarily, people are not utilizing their own cleverness instead they use computers. In fact, PC today is effective throughout many industries; they are trouble-free to converse with people and receiving information that is needed. MySpace and Facebook are the number one websites to interact with people from all over the place. People can simply go on the computer, go to the websites and collect the information they need. Instead of discovering the information considered necessary without using technology shows understanding of not being indolent. Likewise, most people have a MySpace or Facebook, including me, to show off their profiles and personal details to congregate with new people. However, exploring the experience of meeting new people in person would be superior. Both examples highlight elegance from a person if technologies like computers are not being used. Clearly, providing details without computers will show understanding of what knowledge is provided.
