Food should be grown organically rather than the abuse of pesticides Annually, millions of new babies are born around the world, especially in the developing countries like India and China. This high rate of worldwide deliveries induced a corresponding dramatic increase in the global population, creating more stresses on the global food markets, and asking for more food to fill millions of hungry stomachs. As a result, the demand on the agricultural crops increases too. This growth in the global food demands drives food companies as well as farmers and ranchers to invent new methods in order to multiply their productivity and satisfy their customers’ needs. One of the most commonly followed methods to improve the agricultural production is the use of pesticides. Technically, “pesticides” is an agricultural term refers to specially designed chemicals applied on infected or even healthy plants cultivated for food and fiber industries’ purposes. Every year, tons of pesticides are used on wide acreages of farm fields to protect crops against insects and pests such as locusts’ herds that could attack them, making serious damages and gross losses. However, according to many recent studies and researches, pesticides are classified as a human and environment harm substances since they have poisonous effects on the living beings. So, as a daily consumer of vegetables, fruits and other types of crops like millions of other people on this planet, eating food polluted with poisonous chemicals is the last thing that I could think about in my life. In fact, it is really a matter of worldwide concerning issue about the food hygiene. Hence, I believe that food should be grown organically rather than the abuse of pesticides in the farm fields with the exception of some cases.
