I think that our health care system needs some changes that will benefit everyone, not just the corporations in the system. The pharmaceutical companies should have pricing regulations put in place so they aren’t able to charge thousands of dollars for one pill. Cancer patients or anyone in need of care for that matter shouldn’t have to worry about how they are going to pay for a treatment. My uncle has told me more than once if he wasn’t fortunate enough to have the money he does he wouldn’t be here today. His treatments are $13,000 every 4-6 weeks. I feel that everyone should have the ability to get the best medicine possible without big pharma charging thousands of dollars for one pill or shot. I know this wouldn’t fix our health care issues, but it would definitely be a huge change in right direction. This will save patients a lot of money and the pharmaceutical companies would still profit.
