Ponster
The text book definition of a monster is an abnormal or terrifying animal; ugly wicked or cruel person. My definition of a monster is a being that feels no guilt, controlled by their emotions, hurts people, and is over powering. The creature has passion for learning, companionship, and acceptance. All of his passions have slowly but for sure turned him into a monster.
To begin, no monster is born as a monster, they become monsters one way or another. This was the case in the book Frankenstein. The creature wasn’t born a monster mentally. Well the creature wasn’t born so when he entered life he wasn’t a monster immediately but, he was {here I would change the order} physically. When he was born he was eight feet tall, enormously strong and with the mind of a newborn. There was nobody there to help him or teach him because Victor Frankenstein had abandoned him. He found a small town and slowly started to learn which would ultimately turn him into a monster. First, he was green or innocent or naïve; so he started to observe the town’s people. He learned about love, guilt, and many other variations of deep or simple emotions. He thinks he’s normal then he looks into a mirror and finds out he is physically grotesque and ugly. He gets upset and wants revenge on his creator, Victor, once he finds out the way he has come into the world. While he is searching for Victor he finds Victor’s younger brother, William Frankenstein. William said, “My dad is a Syndic- he’s M. Frankenstein- he will punish you. You dare not keep me.” Then the creature replies, “Frankenstein! You belong then to my enemy- to him towards whom I have sworn eternal revenge; you shall be my first victim (pg. 102).” When he killed William he officially became a monster because he’s letting his emotions control his actions. All in all the creatures learning’s has made him vengeful and a monster. He learned his coming to be and vowed revenge on Victor.
To continue, the creature’s transformation...
