Boiling Crawfish Gets Heated
The mid September night of the Crawfish boil was one get together that those that attended will never forget. Chris planned a simple crawfish boil thinking he would have a great time, eat some good food, and enjoy the night with friends. Little did he know that this was not going to be a night that would go according to plan. The night started great with around fifty people at Chris’s house. The first sign of trouble was when Chris heard the sound of Travis’s truck. The truck’s presence made it obvious that more than crawfish were going to boil that night.
Travis stormed out of his truck yelling “Hey you SOB’s! The life of the party is here!” Chris sighed, wondering what new mischief Travis had planned. Chris gladly noticed that most people were ignoring Travis so far. There was a group of ten guys standing together with irritated looks on their faces. Chris could overhear Matt say “If Travis keeps it up he going to get hurt!” Chris started to get worried that things could get out of hand, but it was too late. Travis had walked up to the group that Matt was talking to and threw beer in their faces. That action changed the entire mood of the party.
Chris heard the “splash,” and was sure that this night was about to take a major turn. Chris ran after the group that was already in chase of Travis. Travis made it to his truck and got the door shut in time. Chris could see fists’ slamming into the glass and the doors of the truck as Travis was cranking up the engine. At this point all Chris wanted was for Travis to get the truck in gear and leave.
Travis was able to get the truck into reverse and slammed on the gas. With rocks and dirt flying the ten guys who were just beating on the truck, ran to get out of the path of destruction. BAM! Travis’ trucks slammed into Ben’s new Pontiac GTO infuriating Ben. Ben flew toward the truck at the same time that Travis jerked the truck into drive....
