It’s hard to believe that spring is already here. Let’s finally get ready to enjoy some nice weather.
The BOD would like to thank Charles for all of his hard work and his dedication to the homeowners of Indian Lakes Foundation. You will be missed!
I would like to introduce myself. I’m . I have accepted the nomination to be Board of Directors president, and I will be completing Charles’s term as president. I have been on the BOD since 2007 and previously held the position of Vice President. My family and I moved to Indian Lakes approx. 7 years ago. I currently work for Medical Transport, LLC as a District Operations Supervisor. I will be celebrating 20 years with Sentara Healthcare next month. I currently hold a position on the State of Virginia Emergency Medical Services Advisory Board overseen by Gov. Bob McDonnell. I also retired from the United States Army Reserves in 2007.
We have a great community and my goal is to make it stronger with more efficient communication. As a way to save money and make funds available for other neighborhood needs, and get needed information out quickly. We have started an email database. We can use this method to issue alerts for criminal activity seen in the neighborhood, keep homeowners informed with things like neighborhood watch, upcoming HOA events, newsletters, meetings and for general information. All you have to do is email your name, address and email, (Cell phone and home phone optional) to ILFMANAGER@VERIZON.NET. Many costs are continuing to rise in today’s economy, but Indian Lakes Foundation is trying to go green.
I look forward to a successful working relationship in the future. Finally, thanks for all of your help and interest in making Indian Lakes Foundation what I believe is the finest community in Virginia Beach.
