Step 1: After everyone in your team has posted his or her score from the Group Motivation Inventory, complete the "Argumentativeness" group exercise in Ch. 11. Compile your team results.
Step 2: Discuss the team incentives each team member identified in his or her individual assignment.
Step 3: Review learning team charter goals and assess team process. How is the team working toward the goals? Discuss how this process is in sync, or not, with individual member’s identified team incentives.
Step 4: Discuss conflict the team has encountered, how it has been resolved, and impact on the team. If there has been no conflict, discuss how the team has avoided this and the impact of no conflict on the team.
Step 5: As a team, design two incentives created specifically for your team’s dynamics that will/have guided you to reaching your goals.
Step 6: Explain how your incentives will help your team achieve desired results.
Step 7: Include group theory and motivational theory to analyze the team performance and to support your incentive recommendations.
