The Mind/Body Connection.

When we are used to practice sports as Karate, bodybuilding and others that required a big level of discipline, we frequently listen to our instructors saying that our mind controls our body. I agree with this, concentration is the most important activity to practice while developing our muscles through weight lifting or when having to follow certain rules as it is needed in Karate.
Answering the first question in our DB for this week, I was raised in a very short family, my grandparents, parents and only one sister because my mother and my father shared the characteristic of been the only son and daughter; so, I did not have cousins from neither side. Coming from a so short and religious family, most of the times, and in a small country, helps a lot in developing a moral character where it is hard to lie in order to get something. Lying is not good not only when people become sick purposely to avoid any responsibility, but in every aspect of our lives; nobody likes the lies, at least I do not like them.
With all I have said in the previous paragraph, it is easy to conclude that I have not purposely gotten sick to avoid any circumstance in my live, it is all the opposite, I do remember going to work and to the university sick and even pregnant just few hours before giving birth my children. I became a mother while studying in the law school, my first child when I was just 17 years old and the second and last child when I was 19 years old. Both of them were born during my law career. It does not make me be different than so many mothers that work and study at the same time to pursuit a profession to have a better future, not at all, but is a way to explain that I am not the type of person that could easy lie using illnesses as excuses.
I like to look for the origin of most of the topics and have realized that almost every topic we discuss in today’s days have been discussed already in the ancient times.
