Reflection: Chelsea
Real estate has change in the last five years. There are more things required to become a sales person or broker. Chelsea spoke a little about the requirements to take the real estate board test. In addition, she proved tips on studying for the licensing exam, and what you must do to keep your license.
Fist of all, If a person was interested in becoming a sales person there are a few things a person may want to know. One, they must take a minimum of three courses real estate principle, practice and an elective like real estate law. Those courses may be taken online in a few weeks or at a college in several months. To study for the exam you could just review your book or you could buy a book with 1500 question for about $35.00. There are also, prepatory class which start at about $75.00 in which a person would quickily review the material and run through a few of those practice tests with the students.
Secondly, after completing the sales test you could start gearing up for your broker test. To become a broker you must complete eight real estate courses. If you have no degree you must be a sales person for two years. If you an A.S/A.A degree you need to be a sales person for two years and with a four year degree you could just take the test when your classes are finished. There are question books and prep course much like the sale person exam that would help future broker examinees.
In summation, I thought Chelsea was very informative and offered insight in the real estate field. There are many career paths in real estate these are just two options. First, you must be a sales person, and then you become a broker. Life is about options and there are a few in which one could choose.
