INTRODUCTION
Recruitment and retention tactics are the two main human resource functions which require strategic planning. However, business needs to recruit and retain its skilled and talented workforce within the firm in order to achieve business growth. The main purpose of this research is to develop a project plan with the aim to enhance recruitment and retention strategy for the future (Velasco and Marquez, 2015). The business undertaken for carrying out the current study is Thomas cook which is a foreign exchange organization . The main aim of business is to provide international payments; issues prepaid credit cards etc. to the travelers. Further, the report analyzes a project plan which sets SMART objectives in order to attain desired targets. However, in order to carry out this I require communication and leadership skills. Also, Gantt chart has been prepared which clearly sets out main project areas over a 6 month time frame.
TASK 1
Thomas cook is the organization which deals in foreign exchange and provides services to customers when they are traveling. Its main purpose is to provide international payment, bureaux de change and providing prepaid credit cards which can be used by travelers. However, it is considered as world's largest foreign exchange specialist. Business goals are to meet leaders every day who are trying to shape Travelex future. It also sponsors local communities and sponsor sports and cultural activities. Moreover, business is continuing to expand its geographic reach through acquisitions (Gemmill and et. al., 2012). It trades in around 80 currencies and carries out business over 50 countries. Also, it provides online services as well as it is operating in more than 1500 physical stores that run on major airports and cities.
