In job recruiting, there are many ways to do this. Depending on the time you have and the expense you want to put out to find the right person. Do you want to hire internal or external, word of mouth, or through an employment agency? All in which will take time. The information regarding the call center expansion of 600 additional employees in 6 months. The timetable is to start on October 1st and have 200 hundred employees ready for training on December 1st. The second wave of 100 employees must be ready for class on January 15th. An additional 300 employees will need to be ready for training on March 1st, April 15th and June 1st each training session will have 100 employees. For the success of recruiting 600 employees, a recruiting plan is necessary to ensure the company’s needs are met.
To generate applicants, a job fair will be held on the first Saturday in October. The applications will complete an on-line application, and complete an assessment test. The second Saturday of October, job fairs will be held at the local colleges. Also, On October 1st the following will be scheduled a notice will be sent to Workforce Development to announce job fairs and openings. During the first week of October, the job openings will be posted on the local help wanted web-site. Local radio and television will be welcomed to all job fairs. Posting to all social media regarding the job openings, and how to apply will be included. The objective of marking the job openings is to generate between 800 and 1000 applications.
Using the job description and job analysis, working with the call center’s management criteria will be established and the application will be narrowed down to 720 by the human resource department.
