Abstract
When a company decide to redesign its’ human resources (HR) department they must be aware that this process will impact all employees of the organization. The company’s employees are the customers of the HR department; they are the ones that utilize the HR processes. Involving all employees of the organization is an essential part of the restructuring of the HR department. An HR department must have streamlined process, be financial efficient, an ultimately responsive to the needs of the employees, supervisors and managers and to the organization. We Care has hired me to redesign the HR department of the company. This paper will describe the various methodologies used that will ultimately provide us with a guide of the restructuring. The process will engage employees from multiple locations and departments and from various levels of front line staff to upper management. These will give us an even perspective of information, ideas and discussion items. This paper will also discuss the importance of succession planning, We Care compensation plan, the roles of senior management, employees and volunteers in the evaluation process. This paper will also discuss how this redesign will be conducted and how much it will cost We Care.

Introduction
The objective of the human resource (HR) department is to implement, plan and manage the hiring process within an organization. The HR department is also responsible for selecting and training personnel for career advancement. The HR goal is to improve the productivity of the company through effective hiring, training of employees, improving the work life of staff and realizing that staff members are a valuable resource for the organization. The ultimate goal of the HR department is to promote employee satisfaction, implement personal development and adhere to labor relation laws (Ulrich, 2009).
