Mobile computing system in STC
Summary
We chose our project’s subject to be (Mobile Computing System). And for this subject, we decided that we will talk about STC Company’s mobile Computing system. We chose STC because it is one of the leading companies in Saudi Arabia that has adopted and developed this system. First, we introduced STC’s history and the mobile computing system in general. Second, we have mentioned the technology involved (hardware and software) in the cloud computing systemand STC. Third, we briefly explained STC’s business objectives by using the cloud computing system. Fourth, we talked about the advantages that STC has by using this system and explained these advantages, also we explained the disadvantages that they have and suggested solutions to overcome these disadvantages. Fifth, we have talked about the mobile computing system infrastructure in STC and how is it applied and used; we also mentioned some examples for this system in STC.
INTRODUCTION:
Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) was established in 1998 as the state-owned provider of all public telecoms services in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Telecommunication Group provides integrated mobile, fixed and broadband communications services to over 160 million customers globally. The company is headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, STC is the largest telecommunications company by market capitalization, total revenue and number of employees in the Arab State region.
In the last few years, STC has moved beyond its domestic borders into the international markets, forming a network of businesses and investments in a number of GCC countries, Asia and Africa.
