Refelection Paper

I had just finished my first year of college at St. Cloud Technical College in Minnesota. I had everything set up for me to move down to Georgia, and soon enough I would be making the twenty-four hour drive down with my mother-in-law. I had never drove anywhere that was nearly that long, or been living that far away from home. In college I was an hour away from home, living with two of my closest friends from high school. I was now moving to a state where I knew no one until my husband came home.
The day I had planned to leave had come, and I was about to make the trip down to Georgia. I started to feel nervous at the idea, and became nervous at the thought of my car breaking down on the way there or someone crashing into my car. It was a cool day outside in the middle of May, it felt good to have a cool breeze in the air. I wondered how humid it would be in Georgia, since I was so familiar to the cold weather of Minnesota. My friends and I were outside and we were rearranging boxes, trying to fit everything in my jammed packed car. We seemed to fill every nook and cranny with all sorts of things, hoping we would find room for everything that I had. Everything seem to just barley fit into my car, and I finally had everything inside. I gave my friends a hug goodbye before leaving the place I had identified as home for the last year.
I was on my way to pick up my mother-in-law for the trip down to Georgia. I was relieved that I wouldn’t have to make drive alone, and we could take turns driving. When I arrived at her house, she was surprised to realize how packed my car really was. She got into the car and I drove off, and we were now heading towards Georgia. We made few stops along the way to eat somewhere or to switch places so we could take turns driving. The first several hours my mother-in-law and I talked in order to pass time and the driving seemed simple, but it became increasingly strenuous as it got darker.
