In today’s world feminist movements are still necessary in society. Even though women’s involvement have increased dramatically compared to old times, women still are devoid of the same rights as men. Women now are allowed to get educated, run for political office, and have independent lives because of the work of feminist movements.
Just because we have more rights it does not mean we have equal rights. Despite the fact that many laws guarantee women equality, most of these laws are still not fully enforced and brought to justice, as they should be. Women are allowed in the workplace, but have the responsibility to be the primary caregivers in their families, regardless of having a career or not. Most women are the breadwinner and caregivers, because it is still assumed that it is the woman's natural place. Most women have to suffer the balance of a career and a family. A man's place is in the workforce, because that is how it's always been. A women's place is still in the home, even when she's in the workforce. That is why we still need the feminist movement.
Women need the feminist movement to keep their rights in place, and fight until they have complete equality in society.
Most of women’s accomplishments in society have taken place majorly in the western cultures. In the world there are many hardships women go through that most people don’t even know about.
Feminissm movements not only get awareness and realize the issues at hand but it shows that there is resistance and people will fight to stop it
