I can still remember the date. It was August 24, 2000 and the day was Thursday. On that day I was both concerned and happy. I was worried about my mom. My dad took her to the
Hospital five days ago. Everyone in my family was also concerned about her. For a whole week, they were very busy. Someone was going to the hospital, someone was going for the medicine and everyone was so busy for my mom. The first few days were very unusual for me. Sometimes they became so busy about her that they left me in the house. Then I and my grandma were only the two human beings left in our house. After several days it became normal for me.
The matter for what I was happy is that I was becoming a brother. Mom was going to give birth to her third child, my brother. I was eagerly waiting for the day when he would come. It's like waiting for the Santa's gift.
In the very day, I was watching my favorite cartoon show, in the evening my aunty Roma came as usual. But on that day, she didn't look like she usually did. She was looking much more worried and she was in a hurry. After finishing her supper in the evening she told me, "Hurry up, we are going to see your mom.'' Suddenly I forgot about the show I was watching. I forgot about everything. The only thing that was running through my mind is that I was going to see my mom. Then quickly I began to change my dresses and after a few minutes I was ready to leave.
When we reached the hospital, it was near nine o'clock and I was scared to see so many people there. I think all of our relatives were there. I found that everyone was so happy and I knew the reason behind their happiness.
