Renaissance

The Renaissance was a time of change in Europe and other places. The changes included literary changes, science, and art. During these times great artist appeared and showed their individualities; such as Duccio, Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli, and Michelangelo and many more. These artists of literary and arts changed views from the Renaissance to present day.
Artist used different themes and techniques to make their work meaningful. Some used individualism, realism, secularism, and humanism. Individualism showed the individual self. It focused on that person or thing in the painting or writing. Realism was showed by making things look real; like taking a picture with your hands. Humanism focused on the human thoughts and believes. Many humanists were also secularism, but those who were not could be known as Christian Humanist. Secularism is a form used that doesn’t involve any religion in its works.
Artist today are very different from artist during Renaissance. It took some training to make the master pieces we know today. It didn’t just take putting a black dot on white paper. Most artists grew up with traders or shopkeepers. For this allowed them to look at life from their perspectives and watch other people. Unlike artist today artist then didn’t just draw what they liked. They drew what their beliefs or perspectives on things were. Like Leonardo did, artist helped create the independent creative genius.
Today we don’t classify artist as celebrities, or at least not real art makers. During the Renaissances you could almost say the artist were famous during their time. They would create a master piece, go out in the streets, and persuade people into coming to view what they created. Basically celebrating their own accomplishments and wanting to show off what they could accomplish. Many people began enjoying what they were seeing and creating.
