As Emery stood in her place, everything about her frozen still as though she were some sort of statue she couldn't help but think about the life she had lead up to this very moment. She knew that she was going to die, and she had heard to many times that when someone is about to die thir entire life flashes before their eyes. This was true in her case as well, and it made her realize something, up until this date she had lived a very mundane life. From her viewpoint her life had been fun and full of excitement, but looking back on it now she had spent the past fourteen years doing nothing but wasting time mourning the death of a family that was never going to be coming back for her, never going to be coming back to her. It was at that moment in time that she decided that she was going to stop living for others, stop living in the past, and stop wondering what life would be like if her family were still in it. Instead she was going to start living for herself, every day was for her. There would be no more of this living in the past thing, she would only been living in the present, taking it one day at a time. That sounded like a good idea to her. No matter what resolutions she made she couldn't shake the fear that a paralizing her, however. She stood, trying to keep her legs from darint out and carying ehr away with them, there was no point in running, she knew that. Her body began to tremble as the vampire spoke to her, her words so kind and inviting, they were very persuasive, almost pulling Emery to do what she asked.

As the vampire spoke she confused Emery. At first she said that she wasn't going to kill her, then she called her a dream meal. She was ending cross signals and Emery assumed it was just her trying to send some sort of head games with her, confuse her and scare her, it was working.
