The success of any research project depends on developing a good strategy . A research strategy contains many components such as; topics, purpose statements, hypothesis, null and alternative hypothesis, narrowing the scope, and information analysis. This report focuses on these topics and more as we prepare a research strategy for a university study.

Before you can sink your teeth into any research project, there are some simple things that first need to be considered. First you must develop a research strategy. The secret to the success of any research project is the developing of a solid research strategy. There are a number of things that need to be included in a research strategy such as; topics, purpose statements, hypothesis, null and alternative hypothesis, narrowing the scope, and information analysis. This report focuses on these topics and more as we prepare a research strategy for a university study.
Topic Selection
Selecting the right research topic is not an easy endeavor. The topic has to be narrow enough to establish a focus and spark interest, yet broad enough to ensure that there is adequate information for a final report. There are a number of steps that should be considered when choosing your topic. First, brainstorm for ideas. Find a topic that you are interested or passionate about. Second, find and read some general background information in the area you wish to study. Third, focus in on a manageable topic. A topic that is broad in origin will be difficult to research but one that is too narrow can limit the topic. Fourth, develop a list of keywords specific to your project. Be flexible, always consider the requested outcome when developing your topic question. Be well read in the subject you are wanting to study prior to formulating the thesis statement.
