Meaning of responsibility is taking care of your duties. Responsibility is answering for your actions. Responsibility is trustworthiness and accountability. Being responsible is important because, responsibility is a core value for living honorably. Responsibility is being accountable for your behavior and it is being dependable when yo have things to do. Responsibility has many types. There are personal responsibility, moral responsibility, community responsibility, legal responsibility, family responsibility. This article try to examine gender differences in responsibility types.
In personal responsibility woman are more responsible than the man. I think, in working life women are considered more responsible at jobs. Women more often than not have to handle domestic responsibilities as well as professional responsibilities, but they accomplish both tasks with aplomb. They are more adept at multi tasking and can juggle various responsibilities at a time. It is this quality which enables women to perform consistently well at the workplace. Women are also known to be focused with regards to their work and can get along more easily with most people. As such women are found to be more regular and sincere in their work; they do not shirk work but on the contrary if possible do not hesitate to take up more responsibility. Women take more responsibilty and are more succesful than man. In England, studies by the National Literacy Trust have shown girls score consistently higher than boys in all scholastic areas from the ages of 7 through 16, with the most striking differences noted in reading and writing skills. Historically, girls lagged on standardized tests. In 1996 the average score of 503 for US girls from all races on the SAT verbal test was 4 points lower than boys.
