Review of Ann Lamott

Human beings by nature, or possibly by culture, are judgmental. People judge others to make themselves feel better. See others flaws much clearer than their own in order to wipe theirs out completely. Anne Lamottrealizes this. Not only does she realize it, but she makes in understood in a clear and realistic way. This is how she persuades the reader to buy into her story. She uses reinforcements also, of course. She uses her word choice and sentence structure to allow the reader to be captured by the story. She doesn’t need to give details because the brevity of the sentence shows that she doesn’t care about anything else at that point except the fact that she trashed her enemy, and it was good. So through judgments and the bare naked truth, Anne Lamottforces the reader to buy into her opinions, leaving them educated in the way of forgiveness, and a good writing style. Her word choice, voice, and sentence structure help her...
