I believe that having a great voice tone and body language is the key to succeed in your presentation. By doing this, you are certainly going to keep your audience entertained at all times during your performance, consequently, grabbing their attention to all details you mention. Another key factor is to tell your audience about details from the you r story which will set them to think further. Sharing you personal opinion and afterwards having it compared and contrasted to the author's is a great method to do so. By evaluating the tone, theme, imagery, language and style, and the ambiguity of the story stimulates greatly your audience to think more deeply about what you are really trying to say. Our group will be closely identifying the tone used throughout the poem, "Richard Bone". We have determined that the author has chosen to write in a a serious, yet, doubtful tone. The text is serious, including no humor what so ever, and has a clear purpose to have been written. We will also be analyzing the imagery found in this poem. By reading this selected passage, "And say "He was so kind," "He was wonderful," "She was the sweetest woman," "He was a consistent Christian." ", it sets a great imagery in the minds of readers as of people matching the characteristics mentioned above. Also, "They would bring me an epitaph and stand around the shop while I worked", sets an image of Richard working and being observed by the people who ordered the epitaphs. Our group also observed the language and style found in "Richard Bone", and will surely share it in our presentation. We studied the lengths and rhythm of sentences, repetition, modifications in the pronunciation, grammar or even spelling.
