The reason of the rise of the Nazi Party concludes certain main reasons which all lead to a perfect plan of how Hitler and the Nazis came to power without struggles. The first reason to the rise is a strong leadership of Hitler and his propaganda which made the people believe in him to save Germany. The second main reason of the rise was the fear of the citizens which is why the citizens did not revolt, and little opposition. The three branches of little opposition are economic fears, the Nazi’s successes, and propaganda. The third main reason to the rise of the Nazi Party was the citizen’s feeling of safety in Germany and their pride to be a German.
One of the main reasons of the rise of the Nazi Party is propaganda. Through Hitler’s strong leadership, propaganda came to its highest point, strongly influenced by Joseph Goebbels, who made events that made Hitler come to power such as The Nuremberg Rallies. His techniques were very thought through, smart and successful. He had a lot to do with censorship at that time. Goebbels must always check and approve all books, movies and newspapers to be published, banned Jazz music, and checked what the radio would publish. In 1933, he organized a high-profile “book-burning” which was held all throughout Germany. Any books that were for example anything against the Nazi Party, written by Jews or were about Jews were burned and destroyed. Hitler was a strong speaker, and on the events made by Goebbels like The Nuremberg Rallies he held powerful and persuasive speeches, which made the Germans believe in Hitler and his promises.
