Second slide: Satanism can refer to a number of belief systems that include the Worship of Satan in one way or the other as there are several different types of Satanism – but the average Satanists wud refer themselves to as Satanists regardless of the TYPE. The two major categories under which the other subcategories fall are Theistic Satanism and Atheistic Satanism. Slide three: Theistic Satanism, also called Spiritual or Traditional Satanism, is the worship of Satan in a literal sense and consists of several viewpoints and groups. Theistic Satanists worship satan as a god. Now theistic Satanism is more related to magic and spirits and all that scary stuff – many followers can be considered as extremists as they worship the devil in a literal sense- this form of Satanism gave Satanism its scary image that it has today. Traditional Satanism can be traced as far back as the renaissance period, when witches were accused of worshipping satan and many even confessed. Theistic Satanism became more prominent in the 19th century, the most famous Satanist in the 19th century was the Abbé Boullan of France, who became the head of an offshoot of the church of Carmel and allegedly practiced satanic rituals such as black magic and infant sacrifice. Moving on, there is a group of theistic Satanists known as Reverse Christians that do what average ppl claim they do– they worship the devil, the enemy of God as depicted in the Qura’an and The Bible. Slide four: Some view Satan as a human-like entity, others accept the ancient Roman image of Lucifer, which is One of the names of Satan. Those who believe in Lucifer follow Luciferianism which is a form of theistic Satanism. Lucifer meaning "Light-Bringer" or Morning Star , was the God of light in Roman Mythology, hence the Luciferians do worship Lucifer claim themselves to be good Satanists and do not believe in magic...
