Science has civilised man. It is at the route of modern civilisation. Science means knowledge. Before science man was a creature of blind beliefs. Science has taken the place of super stations. When doubt arose man began to think and reason. From that day science came into existence. Science found out the laws of nature. It also studied and found out the principals underlying certain phenomena in nature. Scientist follwoed these laws and princpals and invented certain things. During the last hundred year science has made rapid progress and it has invented many comforts for man. Electricity is the best servent of man. It has given man light, heat, warmth and speed. Science has saved man' s labour in a hundred ways. Science is cure diseases and invented wonderful medicines which lengthen man' s life. No doubt these are wonderful inventions. But the greatest gift of science is scientific point of view. We no more superstitions. We do not take things for granted. We try to reason, to find out why things are work in a particular way and not otherwise. This is called the scientific point of view which has made invention possibple. No doubt emotions and ethics have no place in science. Of course spiritual considerations have become upper most in man's mind. Man has ceased to worship God and has begun to worship matter. Let those who can, make out for themself which worship is better. Science has civilized man. Science is at the route of modern civilizaiton. Running of different machine in the world is example of science. Science means knowledge. Hence when knowledge began to dawn upon man modern civilization began to arise. Before the discovery of science and modern civilization man was a creature of the blind beliefs.
