Think back to the first time you ever heard of scrum. There are many factors which influenced the development of scrum. Given that its influence pervades our society, there are just not enough blues songs written about scrum. It is an unfortunate consequence of our civilizations history that scrum is rarely given rational consideration by those politicaly minded individuals living in the past, many of whom blame the influence of television. Relax, sit back and gasp as I display the rich tapestries of scrum.

Social Factors

Society is a human product. Back when Vealinger reamarked ‘the power struggle will continue while the great tale of humanity remains untold’ [1] he saw clearly into the human heart. While the western world use a knife and fork, the Chinese use chopsticks. Of course scrum raises the question 'why?'

Did I mention how lovely scrum is? If society has a favourite child, it is scrum.

Economic Factors

The preceding section may have shed some light on society but to really understand man you must know how he spends his money. Of course, scrum fits perfectly into the Lead-a-Duck-to-Water model, as is standard in this case.
