Abstract
The Keirsey Temperament Report based off the questions that I answered interpreted me as a Guardian Provider. These leaders are the corner stone of a team or group and are stated to have a natural talent in managing things and people. Now upon reading this report I realized the things that I need to do better and the things that I already do in a professional environment. But this test came to show me ways to improve my skills to not only be a better leader but a better follower. Knowing ones weaknesses and receiving critique can only improve your own ability to improve in your field and become a better person.
Self-Assessment of Leadership Ability
Leaders are not born they are made; people are great leaders but don’t realize their true abilities until they are shown who they can and knowing who they want to be. Keirsy has shown me that I have the ability the strengths the ability to be a great leader. Something that I have been told my whole life is to be a leader not just a follower, speak your mind not only when you are asked but when you know it is right to do so. There are many different types of leaders in this world. The leadership style of one is always slightly different than the next simply because no two people are raised r experience the same things in their life. Reading about the Guardian Provider Temperament I see the qualities so fitting in myself that I know that I do but never realized that I was doing, simply because it was instinct. Now with the Keirsey and several other assessments, I will explain life situations on how I have handled them and how I should have handled them. But knowing how to properly change and learning and critique is only the first step in this life process of ever becoming a better person.
