Loyalty. Loyalty to the Army is to bear true faith and allegiance to the United States Constitution, the Army, your unit and other soldiers. Loyalty is one of the most important Army Values. It is crucial to the success of each team, squad, platoon and company. Everyone must always remain loyal to everyone they serve with regardless of the differences they may have with each other. When you put on the uniform of the United States Army. All differences you have with anyone you work with are put to the side. If someone cannot remain loyal to his fellow soldiers that is putting his team or squad at jeopardy if they cannot trust someone with there life. When in combat all you have is your battle buddy to your left and right. That is why it is extremely important to remain loyal to those whom with you serve. Because you and their life’s depend on it. Being loyal to one another is also standing up for that person if someone is making fun of them or degrading them and they are not around to stand up for themselves. Not only should you be loyal to those with whom you serve but also to your family. You should always stand up for what you believe no matter what anyone else may say or the punishment for it. The next army value is Duty. According the to Army duty is to fulfill your obligations. Duty is always doing what you are supposed to no matter what and accomplishing a task that needs to be done, no matter how much you’d rather be doing something else. Whether you love it or hate it. The task is there to be done. If one does not fulfill their duties on a regular basis, then those around them have to pick up the slack. It is your duty to always keep your battle buddies safe. It is your duty to do the right thing all the time.
