Should all of your senses be trusted?
Sense perception is being aware of you surroundings while using your five senses; sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch. For example, knowing where you are, who’s around you on a busy street or a quiet street, what color was the car that it the taxi downtown, if you smell something dangerous like smoke or gas and if you hear someone is screaming for help or crying loudly. The role sense perception play is very important because this is used as a trigger to tell your brain what to think and how to react to the situation a hand. It’s almost like instincts. Sense perception is important because we need to know/understand to be aware of the world around you and what’s in it. Human sensor reception is when humans react to the changes external and internal environment (Human sensory reception. (Human sensory reception, 2014). These sense organs have receptor cells, which are sensitive to a particular part of the brain (Human sensory reception, 2014).
There are a few ways that you may be able to have accurate information from the Sensory information that you receive; your sense organs and the way your brain process the sensory data (Goodpaster and Kirby,2007). We use our one of the most important organ when tasting something, which is the tongue. This gives you the sense to know if you would enjoy the taste and decide whether to consume or not too. When you look at things there is no doubt in your mind that this is what is really in your vision. When you see something that is about to happen that may harm you may be very dangerous your response would be to move away from it or prepare to defend yourself.
