Showcase the Fun and Learning
Let’s admit it, often times we say school is really boring and tiresome. Others may ask, why even bother to go to school? When you can just stay at home, watch television, eat, sleep and relax all day long. People nowadays are more focused on the negative side than to be optimistic in life. But come to think of it, school isn’t really a burden; it’s not that bad as I consider it to myself as my mini-hell when I was still a kid. I have learned to love it and as time flies by, I soon start to realize that I don’t want to miss all the fun and learning that a school could hardly give.
Lately, if I’m not mistaken, it was Thursday morning when we we’re divided by group for an activity which involves getting as much possible little things that can be found in our surroundings. I and my group mates tried to get as much as little things we can find from pebbles, to those little flowers called Santan, some red Gumamelas, ‘Makahiya’ plant, green and red Chili Peppers, ‘Kalamunggay’, ‘Amorsiko’ the ones known to be sticking in your pants, different kinds of Palmeras or Palmera Fruit which was round in shape, we even pick up grasses, as well as flowers with different colors like violet, yellow and white and a lot more which I can’t remember anymore specially their names. We had fun staying and picking up things outside despite the scorching heat of the sun. After a while, we we’re asked to go back inside our classroom for the next instructions. There, we were given the time to meet with our group and examine the things we picked a while ago. Then our teacher stood in front telling us that we are to make a bracelet with those things we had picked up. We we’re all excited about the activity and immediately started for we only have limited time. Everyone was busy in making their own bracelet trying to give a good impression on the output which was made.
