Metaphorically friendship saved the lives of the Sisterhood. The text Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a story about a group of 4 very close friends- Tibby, Carmen, Lena and Bridget. They share their first summer separate but with the help of the traveling pants, each friend has the support she needs when they go through the hard times. Friendship does save the lives of the friends, the term friendship means the mutual feelings of trust and affection and the behavior that typify relationships between friends. The friendship shown not only through the main characters but the secondary characters as well is definitely full of affection, love and trust; those aspects are strong enough to save anyone emotionally from going astray. Friendship gives the girls in the sisterhood a positive attitude and inspires them to be their best.
