The Children Samantha, Julie, and Brooke were best friends who graduated from high school a year beforeand today they decided to meet at their favorite café to talk about their new house. The dinner was a celebration and a business event at the same time. Their realtor Kathy was meeting them there to sign the final papers before they could move into their new home. The girls were so excited to be starting a new stage in their lives and starting it together in a new home. One thing they didn’t know is that the home wasn’t as new as it appeared. The first night was approaching fast and the girls were trying to hurry so that they could settle in that night. Samantha is the organizing type; she likes everything to have a place and to be in that place. Samantha is tall, honey complected with shiny flowing curling hair. She also has her down falls too; she tends to be quieter and keeps to herself. She does not really have too many cares, her main reason for moving into the house is to get a perspective of her life and get out on her own. She also works with children but she works with children with special needs. She feels a sense of accomplishment and joy when she knows a child is happy with what they have accomplished. Brooke is very tall with falling light brown smooth straight hair. She also like Julie had a feeling of adventure and excitement about this house but couldn’t really explain why the house made her feel that way. As she was exiting the shower she felt the feeling and this time she knew she was not alone. After looking in the mirror what appeared to be steam was more than that it was the pale, white, sad, and scared face of a little boy. Feeling so startled she almost slipped and fell which drew the attention of Brooke. She knocked on the door to ask Julie if she was ok and Julie quickly replied I’m fine, thanks.
