’s not and say we did
After reading Ken Hamner’s article I came to one conclusion, its straight ridiculous. There is no possible way anyone could continue living life if what he said were to come true. Life as we know it would quikly come to an end. There would be a chain reaction of freak events if these simple things were stripped from our lives.
The only possible exceptions would be the smoking and alcohol bans. People could defiantly go without cig’s and cocktails but when your talking about banning our food because it contains to much fat, banning knives because we don’t need to cut our red meat anymore. People need food to survive, just keep it in moderation.
Now for the truly ridiculous things he points out, he obviously must be joking about cars, baseball bats, wet bathtubs, ect… I mean really, soft rubbery sidewalks because there are some clumsy people out there. Yea right were not going to open our doors because of harmful pathogens that will kill us. Imagine not drinking water or not having the privilege of bringing a child into the world because, “life is a leading cause of death”. If all these ideas actually happened I don’t think I would want to even be alive.
The best idea yet is at the end of the article. Yes, I believe you should have a choice to do whatever you want and to live anyway you want to. Choices are made every day, good ones and bad ones, that’s what being a human being is all about.
