Today has been a devastating day for all. Today's date is October 29th, 1929. As most of you have done,which we all know is a terrible mistake, is invest in the stock market. We all knew what we were getting into, it was a very risky investment. We thought that this market was an infallible investment. We all thought we could be rich. Ordinary people like, maids and teachers became rich! A couple months ago we should have seen the signs of this not being risk free and easy. Everyone scrambled to be apart of the stock market. Especially on march 25, 1929, when we had what we thought was a market crash. We all began receiving margin calla. Then Mr. Mitchell told is that his bank would keep lending, we figured everything would be okay, but it wasn't. Then all of the other signs should have warned all of is to get out of the market before it was too late. We all continued thinking these signs meant nothing but if we would have noticed and acknowledged the signs we all could have prevented this horrible day. For example, in march, steel production went down, house construction slowed down, and cars weren't selling as fast as they use to be. People even warned us this might happen, but we ignored them to and the. Here we are today, this morning are stock prices plummeted. So many people sold their stocks and margin calls were sent out,all we could do was watch. We were all shocked many even committed suicide, by the end of that day many of us started buying more stocks. That day was known as Black Thursday. Today is Tuesday, I think this is literally the worst day in stock market history. Things fell behind, people panicked, people didn't sell their stocks fast enough. Since everyone sold their stocks no one bought stocks. Stock prices collapsed, over 16.4 million shares of stock was sold today.
