Stockton Melting Pot

In the article “Anna Tuttle Villegas: Stockton’s melting pot bubbles with vigor.” Anna talks about how the media target Stockton as of the most miserable city in the U.S, the most violent city for gang-related or shooting at a schoolyard that no one would choose Stockton as anyone destination to visit or even want to set foot on and having one of the worse foreclosures in the nation has ever had. Even though the city of Stockton has all of these problems Stockton has become a melting pot when race identity is obliterated, interbreeding has rendered race demarcations and where race mixing has extinguished racism. I agree with the article because I have seen the city of Stockton dramatically change over the years that I have been living here. Stockton has change over years it’s not as bad as the media show on T.V of how ghetto of a town they no one would ever want to visit but it’s a town where society move from racist to race-neutral, interbreeding has rendered race demarcations where different culture will come together where their children is the proof, and where race mixing has extinguished racism.
The city of Stockton is one of the most miserable cities in American but it’s a city where racism is neutral. Stockton is well-known for being a ghetto city. Most people who are passing by on highway I-5 or the 99 wouldn’t even stop to set foot on Stockton because of how ghetto of a city of Stockton but for the people living in Stockton this area is called home. Even though Stockton maybe a miserable city it’s a city where different ethnicity and culture are able to get along a lot better than any other cities. In Stockton we have become a melting pot where any ethnicity is able to work alongside with one another where anyone is able to tell what ethnicity the people are without having to say anything because the ethnicity in Stockton is spread out that anyone would be able to tell who is what ethnicity.
