What I Have Learn When I Become A Teacher

As a go along with my Diploma in Teaching, I keep in mind that this isn't the most financially rewarding path I can take, but if I’ve got the "right stuff," teaching can be the most personally rewarding path of all. Although all about it seems to be new to me, I think that teaching has had some real impact on public. As what I heard lots of opinion, ideas and information from different sources during my high school years and also in my undergrad course, criticisms and disadvantages were the only thing they say about teaching. Like for instance, teaching profession is only for low level thinker; teaching is only for losers; teaching is the poorest profession; and a lot more. Likewise they say there are hiring freezes, layoffs, increasing of class sizes and cuts in courses offered, all of which negative thoughts come to my belief that I think I can’t be a teacher ever!. But that was my past. Those ideas I thought that I can stand all my life was now different as I started to love teaching 2 years ago.
Maybe it’s true that some people, from the time they are in first grade, know they want to become a teacher someday. And maybe someone said that it is truly a calling for him/her. However, for others, the idea to become a teacher can be an unexpected decision. Regardless of where the idea comes from, for one who used to love this profession, the images associated with becoming a teacher will probably takes positive insights. However, when those insights were now applied in real life setting of being a teacher, the differences between just imagining and reality can be hard. Considering the fact that all can be a teacher, I think not every person who wants to be a teacher should be a teacher. My point is that, in teaching profession, there is a huge gap between the ideal of teaching and the reality of the classroom. Teaching probably won't make someone financially rich.
