Summary of current self-assessment
Sedikides (1993) defined Self-assessment as the process of looking at oneself in order to assess aspects that are important to one's identity. It is one of the motives that drive self-evaluation, along with self-verification and self-enhancement.
A/ My strengths
Self-assessment is a process in which you examine yourself in attempt to discover and learn more about yourself. Your likes, dislikes, behaviours, attitudes and habits can be found during this process. You can use the discoveries to your advantage by accepting or changing strengths and weaknesses. I plan on using this course to enhance my personal skills to become a better student and employer. Self-Assessment is the first step in my successful future.
I can remember in high school, it seemed like I was always one of the last students finished with a test and this problem is one of my weaknesses. I was sometimes slower at completing a written paper or an assignment
I dared not raise the slightest finger to ask a question or to be active in the discussions, I had no confidence in me in public, I was afraid to share what I know in public, but I found my insurance once in front of my audience. I would have to search for answers in my memory for some time. Sometimes answers just weren’t retrieved at all. But I was one of the most talkative of the class students, I had all the trouble in the world for those who were offenses and could not defend themselves because of their shyness so I always found them to be the defender’s group and that gave me most of time to be the leader of the class. I always was the one that meant to defend the interests of peers.
