Taking Advantage of the Opportunity

Taking Advantage of the Opportunity

I would have to say that I think Untied States should allow immigrants to enter the U.S. but only in certain situations. There are many people who want to come to America for a better way of life and some are correct in this but others lead astray or take advantage of the opportunity.
When I say that immigrants should be allowed to come here under certain circumstances, I mean that if they want to find a good job or for a better education. If they are willing to work hard for it then let them better their lives but they should also be willing to go through the process of getting their citizenship. They should pay all the fees necessary and be more than willing get fingerprinted. If they have nothing to hide and are honest in their endeavors then they should be granted full right.
The ones who come here only to drop out of school, cause trouble by going in and out of jail and have the reckless behaviors should be deported. They have no intention of making life for themselves or their families then there is no reason for us to help them.
I think that the there should also be a time period for deciding if they would like to stay here in America or return back to their countries. To start off they should get a working or student visa and once that time is up they can decide from there.
There are many foreigners that can be beneficial to the U.S. many people from other countries have a lot to offer us then we may realize and that is one of the main reason I say that they should be allowed to come here. They can provide a great deal of physical labor as well and education from their homeland. For example, some of best farmers come from other countries, and some of the people can bring forth new and advanced technologies.
The bottom line is that if they want to stay in America then they should be willing to better their lives since that is the reason they came here in the first place. Pay your dues and respect the laws and we can all get along just fine.
