Cesar Fuentes Janet Espinola Pessagno ENG- 101 1 March, 2009 Schools, Teenagers, and part-time jobs Teenagers don’t have the idea in what they really want to do I the future or in their lives they get tired in deciding if they should really work for the fun of it or simply work because they feel like they need to make themselves useful. If they have more than four classes that is considered a full student and won’t be able to handle too much pressure. If they have three or two classes maybe they have extended hours in that they can use to work. Students at an early age maybe shouldn’t be working to pay for school when they have their parents responsible for them but yea if they want to have extra money for their own expenses maybe they should work the minimum hours as possible. If the student enrolled in a college, university, or simply high school lean to have a job or they feel like they need money for whatever the reasons are, they would certainly go look for a job and forget about school work. There are negative consequences in having a part time job or working and studding at the same time. Students wouldn’t pay attention to school anymore there will be more drop outs, and if they’re still going to high school the chances that they wouldn’t graduate would be really high. The best choice would be for teens to work, but not full time and not too much hours either. This would allow flexible hours to study and or to take a break to clear their minds out of all the daily stress. Teen tend to pay more attention to what they’re doing at work do that they feel obligated by their jobs, they can go to school at whatever time they want and feel free to miss the assignments and nothing would happen to them simply their grade would go down. It all depends on the person and there expectations about responsibility, the mind is the one part of the body that controls the person ways of thinking and deciding what is good and what is not.
