How to choose a
good friend

We all know that a friend is a friend who listens to other people’s problems as much as sharing their own problems with them and to be there when a friend needs you. But be alert of all your friends around you because some of your friends may be just pretenders and backstabbers. The ones who leave us behind in times of adversity are very likely to be the unfaithful friends.

Choosing right friends is important because you are influence or affected by your friends in subtle ways you may not realize. Like, if you’re stressed out about exam, a friend who doesn’t challenge herself might convince you to stop studying for an exam to hang out at Cineplex, for an example.

In the other hand, a friend who works hard might inspire you to keep challenge yourself and also keep improving yourself in positively ways. These two difference type of friends can influence you in your daily life if you didn’t try to know them better.

Would you want a friend who tries hard to please you even though they are forced to lie to you? Would you accept their insincere remarks? As for myself, I’ll feel cheated and angry. Please choose a friend who are trustworthiness, honest and dependable person rather than choose a friend who is good at physical appearances but insincere.

But don’t get me wrong, I didn’t means to close the door to others that is not a good person. There are all the others who are not your friend yet, but one day they may become your best friends. You can give them selfless advice and listens to their problems. Always remember to be an ideal friend to others as well. The only way to have a friend is to be one. One must know that everyone is a friend, until they prove otherwise.
