THIS HOUSE IS AGAINST THE DECISION TO CREATE THE STATE OF TELANGANA .The issue of formation of Telangana by dividing ANDHRA PRADESH, just before polls is an election gimmick which will tip the country into a period of political instability .A congress party beset by corruption scandal and blamed for slow economy has noticed that almost half of Andhra Pradesh‘s 42 parliamentary seats lie in what is now Telangana .
The recent Telangana movement was based on misrepresented facts to instigate hatred among regions by separatist political leaders .This has resulted in poor and innocuous students being swayed under emotions and thus vandalizing public and private property .Telangana is not underdeveloped as being projected ,in fact 4 out of 10 districts are most developed than any other in ANDHRA PRADESH .At the same time ,there are some districts which are under developed mostly due to arid terrain as it is geographically a plateau with less scope for providing water resources.
The following repercussions will follow from the creation of new state-
1> Hyderabad- the city that since the information technology boom of the 1990’s has been a thriving economic centre .In the recent years it has also been the haven of a real estate mafia who rode on the wings of that boom and an unholy nexus between caste and regional politics. Success of Hyderabad was the joint venture of people from both Telangana and coastal Andhra regions .Rayalseema and coastal Andhra which are most underdeveloped will lose the local status of Hyderabad thus inflicting economic backwardness in these regions .
2> Separation will cause severe convolutions throughout the country ,Poorvanchal, Harit Pradesh ,Gorkhaland and Vidharbha demands are already being raised ,The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha announced indefinite strike in calling for Gorkhaland thus disrupting the political, economic and social instability of the nation
