Thankful

Two years ago, my aunt Jane and I were walking into the mall for our usual bonding time, as we walk up we see john, a blind 12 year old little boy. John held a sign that read ‘I’m blind’ and a hat for donations, the hat had little money. As we proceed walking, we see an elder man come up. The elderly man take the sign, flips it over and writes ‘What a beautiful day, wish I could enjoy it.’ After our shopping when my aunt Jane and I were walking out of the mall, we see John is still there, but we notice the hat is nearly full. That’s when I realize, the elderly man didn’t change the meaning of the sign. What I learned is, I have the ability to see and poor john doesn’t, but in a day, week, month, or year we, most human beings do not take the time to realize the precious things we take in everyday. John led me to be thankful for the little things in life we over see. Since the day I was brought into this world, I received many wonderful gifts, I am most thankful for my family, softball and education. If it wasn’t for these I wouldn’t be who I am today.

In my life I am thankful for my family, without them I would be so lost, them make me who I am. Ever since the day I was born my family has been there for me, for the good and for the worst, for that I am thankful. My dedicated their life to come and support their children, in school, sports and everything in between. They are very involved in my life. My parents once told me that their parents were never around and that they would never put us through what they went through. Another reason is they provide me with shelter, a cozy, fun, safe home. They also provide me withal the sports equipment I need, so I can play my best, every game. The greatest thing the provided me with is love, I can’t ask for more than that. I am also thankful for my family always pushing me to my fullest potential in sports. My family has a weird way of pushing me to my maximum potential, they mock me, it helps. They...
