The Advantage of Watching a Movie at Home
Of making movies, actors and actresses would say that is their lives’ calling to put their artistry into mirroring the lives of real men and real women as best they could up on that “silver screen.” Film directors would claim “artistic license” in their manner of interpreting these supposedly realistic depiction of life, however unrealistic the end result might be. Movie producers would say that they only want to give the viewing public the best possible film they have the power to make. As with true motive for making movies, watching movies are also borne out of a multitude of reasons and justifications. The films shown on the huge screen of the movie house and the films shown on the much smaller screens of television sets inside audience’s houses, all serve such purposes, whatever they may be. If, among all these variety of possible reasons, the main purpose of the particular viewer is to relax while being entertained for the most minimal of efforts, least possible cost and, saving time then watching a movie in the privacy of his own home is the more advantageous of the three avenues for film-viewing.
While some may enjoy the experience of being out amongst people, if you are agoraphobic and have a fear of public places, you do not need to deal with stress of being in a crowded place with lots of people. Movie theaters are typically inside the shopping malls, while some are in their own buildings. The cinemas typically seat around two hundred and fifty people; and some very popular films play to a standing-room only audience, while some play to almost-empty movie houses or only a third full.
