understand the American family style of leaving
first they see how children think they are kings
also children believe they can do whatever they want.
Children are very disrespectful with parents
also children think they the untouchable. For example
a ten years old thinks he can behave and get away
without punishment just knowing that he can pick up the phone
and dial 911 and report his parents for any abuse caused
from parents. Is a very shocking culture for international students
is a fact that most of the American families do not spend time
together on weekends and holidays. For example American people
like to have their own spare time with friends and usually
they do not spend time with families
Also they seldom eat together
For example many American
families don't have a meal together due to a totally and different
activities and work schedule, and finally
people don't believe the children spend more with friends than with
parents. After a while American students will get use to this
style of living and understand how families are in America.
