Purpose
The Bead Bar is using a manual system for completing business. The company has experienced problems with lost orders, incorrect invoicing, and fulfillment delays.

The head-quarter’s office contains one computer which runs Microsoft® Office. Julia, the chief financial officer handles all financial transactions with Excel.
The company desires to move the Bead Bar in to the digital world. This goal can be achieved by creating a networked system that can collect, store, process, retrieve, and distribute information between each of the divisions as well as globally.
The Bead Bar desires to enter the global market through the internet with an e-commerce web site. Each studio, franchise, and the Bead Bar on Board require access to the internet and intranet. Business processes will be multi-accessible on a centralized distributed database, located at the headquarters. The headquarters also houses the warehouse, storing supplies for each studio, franchise, and the Bead Bar Onboard.
